Strategic Directions:

  1. Build a healthy, non-profit, community-based organization.
    1. Create a viable Volunteer Program for all Farm activities.
    2. Maintain an ongoing Board Recruitment Program that represents multi-board functions and Farm activities.
    3. Conduct Strategic Planning and review Goals Annually.
    4. Maintain a financially solvent organization.
  2. Cultivate relationships to create a strong public/ private model of support for the Greenbank Farm to ensure its open space, its rural character and the community's involvement.
    1. Continue to foster a strong co-operative relationship with the Port of Coupeville.
    2. Collaborate with the Port of Coupeville on the development of a Master Site Plan that includes a Conservation Easement for the Farm.
    3. Explore possible joint projects with the Port of Coupeville.
    4. Expand identification of groups and organizations as potential strategic partners and establish relationships.
  3. Provide adequate facilities and infrastructure for full use:
    1. Support the use of the land for organic, agricultural purposes.
    2. Create opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
    3. Provide a venue for producing and marketing regional products and services.
    4. Utilize existing facilities and infrastructure to best use.
