This is a legal contract, which requires you to sell on Saturday July 24th 10 am to 7 pm and Sunday July 25th from 10 am to 5 pm. In return for use of the space assigned to you by the Greenbank Farm Management Group (GFMG), you agree to abide by the rules and regulations stipulated below. GFMG promises to promote and advertise the event.

 

The Loganberry Festival is open to the public at no cost, with a requested per car donation for parking. The GFMG wishes to promote the local home businesses and locally made products with its markets, and reserves the right to deny vendor space to commercial vendors that do not, in their opinion, fit within these parameters.

 

Space Size: A standard space is 15’ deep with 15’ frontage. Tents, awnings or other covers are provided by the vendor and must be designed to fit within the space and to withstand the wind and inclement weather, and must be of good construction.

 

Space Assignment: Assignment of space is the sole prerogative of GFMG.

 

Space Sharing: Space must be used by a single vendor producing a product line or service business only.

 

Fee: The space fee is $250. Each additional foot of frontage is $10. each additional foot of depth is $5.  A $15. discount is offered to any vendor whose application and payment in full is received by May 14th. A minimum deposit of $100. is required with applications, payment in full must be made by June 15th. There is a $30 fee for returned checks, credit cards are accepted.

 

Electricity and Water: Electrical power is limited to 110V or 120V, and will be provided upon request for a fee of $25. Vendors must provide their own extension cords rated for outdoor use, minimum 12 gauge and 50 feet long. No generators are allowed. Water hookups are not available, but water for hand washing will be made available.

 

Government Safety and Health Regulations: Vendors must obtain and display valid food handler’s permits and pass the Island County Health inspection Saturday morning to commence service. Vendors must conform to WAC 173-304 Minimum Functional Standards for solid waste handling and may not dispose of grease/oil in Festival trash cans or dumpsters. Vendors must provide at least one 30 gallon trash can and a sufficient supply of heavy duty liners to maintain a clean and attractive area, and shall bring waste to designated area. Vendors must have a fire extinguisher in their booth. Food trailers must have a Class 1 hood, a self-suppressing automatic shutoff fire extinguishing system and a 2A 40BC fire extinguisher.

 

Set up/ Breakdown: Setup hours are Friday 2 pm – 8 pm and Saturday 7 am –9 am. Vendors must be set up and vehicles out of the festival area no later than 9 am on Saturday. No breakdown is allowed prior to 5 pm on Sunday. Vendors who break down early will not be invited back. Breakdown must be complete by Sunday at 8 pm.

 

Sales Tax: Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax to Washington State.

 

Insurance: All food vendors must submit a certificate of insurance showing minimum per occurrence liability of $500,000. showing Greenbank Farm Management Group as additional insured. Certificates must be received prior to start of set up.

 

Security: No overnight security will be provided. GFMG accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to persons or property of any kind. Overnight parking for vendor campers, trailers and RVs will be available at no cost adjacent to the festival area to those who request it on this application.

 

Trash Disposal: Vendors are responsible for carrying their waste and excess cardboard to the designated dumpsters north of the festival area. Do not use the festival area trash containers put out for public use.

 

Cancellation: No refunds will be made for cancellations after June 1st. The festival will be held rain or shine.

 

Confirmation: A copy of your contract will be sent with acceptance, a letter will be sent with non acceptance.
