The Greenbank Farm is a unique place for your wedding ceremony
and/or reception. The Farm sits at the center point of Whidbey
Island, offering vistas of open farmland, the waterways bordering
the Island, and the Olympic and Cascade Mountain Ranges and has ample parking for guests. There are many places on the Island for guests to stay when they come for weddings, visit the links for more infomation on accomodations.

Our historic barn is a versatile space that can be decorated elegantly or can be dressed down for a laid back, country feel. The space hosts up to 250
people for sit-down or buffet reception dinners.

We believe
in "island time" at the Greenbank Farm. Our 2010 wedding rental
includes a hall set up with tables and chairs ready for decoration by 10 AM to ensure the event can be a leisurely experience
with plenty of time to decorate, visit with relatives and friends,
and enjoy magical Whidbey Island. A semi- private lawn area off the north side of the Barn is perfect for an outdoor wedding or outdoor seating, and the pond and Master Garderers lovingly planted and maintained gardens make beautiful backdrops for photos or an outdoor wedding.

The main floor of the barn and loft provide space for sit-down dinners, less formal appetizer or dessert receptions, dancing and for indoor ceremonies in the event of inclement weather. The barn loft can allow additional seating form meals followed by dancing in the evening, or a separate area for the kids to play in.

The barn kitchen is available for a professional caterer, family
or friends to serve pre-prepared food and beverages. The kitchen
provides ample counter space, a stovetop and oven for warming,
and an oversize cooler capable of handling the wedding cake,
beverages and chilled food items.
A number of tables and chairs are included in the
rental. There are abundant community resources for catering, additional
table/chair rental, table service, and wedding coordination.
The Farm provides table and chair setup and take down, but not cleanup or catering services.

For smaller
weddings and/or receptions, the Jim Davis House is available.
It is the Craftsman-style former farm manager residence. It is
suitable for a guest list of 25-35 indoors. With weather permitting,
the house, porch and yard accommodate 50-60 guests. The house
boasts a 30 foot long meeting space and porch, with a kitchen,
and a single unisex bathroom. It overlooks marshlands teeming
with wildlife and views of Saratoga Passage and the Cascade
Mountain Range and is adjacent to the agricultural areas. |
